Bringing together five companies in the aeronautics sector, Aviagroup decided to carry out an overhaul project, with the aim of modernizing the platforms, strengthening and gain in scalability, all at group level. Hexanet has chosen to design a solution based on Dell EMC vSAN Ready Node infrastructures, hosted in its Reims data center and replicated on a secondary backup site, as well as on-premise RDS servers for access to the group’s ERP. In addition to the immediate performance gains associated with the modernization, the vSAN environment will provide Aviagroup with the agility it needs to keep up with its changing IT needs and the backup infrastructure will help minimize the impact.
